A lot of people talk about end times, “we are living in the end times” they say. How do they know?
Some say: “well, they have talked about the end times for thousands of years already and nothing happened. How do you know that today is the end times?” How do you even know when these end times started? The Bible tells us that the end times started the moment that Jesus Christ was born upon this earth. The book of Hebrews says in chapter 1:1 “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways. But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.” What is it that Peter, Paul and John say about this important matter? What do they say about ‘the antichrist’ and ‘the many antichrists that have already come’?
Is ‘the man of lawlessness’ the same as ‘the antichrist’? What is the secret power that is already at work that 2 Thess. 2:7 speaks about? What does it mean when it says in 2 Thess. 2:7 “Who is the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way”. What is this restraining force that holds back the total revelation of the antichrist? Can we see this force at work today? Can this restraining force disappear and if so, what will happen then? Rev.
