The Jewish Festival of Chanukah is fast approaching (29 November – 5 December 2021). Olive Tree Travel have organised a unique INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP giving insights into this ancient festival as we focus on exploring the biblical origins of many Christian traditions and celebrate our common Judeo-Christian values.

Co-hosted by Rabbi Riesenberg & Olive Tree Travel’s Director, Steven Green, we’re taking you deep inside the Jewish Community to meet the leaders and learn about the traditions of this joyous festival. Participants will spend time in a Synagogue, discover the significance of the Menorah/Chanukiah, partake in a range of interesting interactive activities, engage in stories pertaining to the “Light Unto The Nations” plus indulge in an evening meal featuring the traditional foods that symbolise Chanukah. The event culminates at a Communal Chanukiah Lighting Ceremony with the Jewish Community where we can extend our hands of friendship and support for each other.
